Text messages are clear and easy to understand. The Amtel Text Communication System sends more specific information that is
easier to understand than a traditional light-based intercom.
ALERTS
Used for communications requiring an
immediate response or action.
Announce telephone calls, patient
arrivals, or personnel pages.
Press a pre-programmed key at any unit to
send an alert. A keyboard unit offers the versatility to type detailed
text.
Instantly, the receiving unit beeps and
displays the alert.
Multiple received alerts can be programmed
to scroll
until cleared or responded to or timeout.

RESPONSES
Customized response keys are used to
reply to an incoming alert.
Select from a variety of responses
available, then
press any key to answer the alert with minimum disruption.

MESSAGES
Used for communications that do not
require an immediate response.
Messages are displayed immediately,
automatically date and time stamped, and stored for later recall and
response.
To respond, simply enter the information
on the keyboard or touch a phrase key and press send. A message
may be up to 7 lines long.
Each unit can store several hundred
messages.

REMINDERS
Used for appointments, scheduling
